Chura Green comes in a set of three types: No. 1 (lactic acid bacteria), No. 2 (actinomycetes, bacillus), and No. 3 (photosynthetic bacteria). It is mainly used as an activating liquid together with Land Green (chitosan) and molasses.
● Characteristics and functions of lactic acid bacteria
Lactic acid bacteria break down organic matter and produce large amounts of organic acids such as lactic acid, which chelate minerals and increase their absorption, lower the pH and suppress harmful microorganisms, creating an environment in which yeast, actinomycetes, photosynthetic bacteria, and other organisms that can coexist with lactic acid bacteria can easily operate.
● Characteristics and functions of actinomycetes and bacilli
Since the cell walls of pathogenic bacteria such as Fusarium contain chitin, actinomycetes and bacilli secrete enzymes such as chitinase and chitosanase to break down the cell wall components of filamentous fungi. Actinomycetes also produce many antibacterial substances such as streptomycin to suppress pathogenic bacteria.
● Characteristics and functions of photosynthetic bacteria
Photosynthetic bacteria are excellent at decomposing organic matter, particularly removing ammonia and hydrogen sulfide, and producing amino acids and sugars without producing harmful substances. They can also efficiently perform photosynthesis with little solar energy, producing sugar and fixing nitrogen.
Use for compost fermentation and bokashi making.
